PRICE – On that note, the current (Jan 2020) discounted price of £33.10 is 28% more expensive than just last month (Dec 2019 - £25.79). That’s some margin for inflation!
CRITICISM – If I have a quibble, it is that the waist-band and drawstring could do with being more elasticated and the drawstring cord is just too grippy, in that when you pull the bow to untie the shoelace style knot of the waste-band cord, the remaining half-hitch does not loosen due to the friction of the cord, as such I keep having to unpick the half-hitch to get the waist band to loosen enough to remove the trousers, This could be resolved with the use of a drawstring made of material with less grip.
Other styles with either no zip or a short ankle zip do not easily allow you to put on or remove them without first removing your footwear. With this style it is very straightforward, so they are much better suited for wearing during warm-up, or alternatively to put on quickly straight after exercise to keep your leg muscles warm.
As with all the Canterbury branded stuff I have worn, the quality is very good and the sizing reliable.
They are only a little bit more expensive than the types I've had before but well worth the money.
