Well made and tremendous acting especially from Maguire and the little girls, a word of warning though, it has U2 music in it.

Jake at his best

Like Jake Gyllenhaal so that did it for me, Jake is a bit of a loser, whilst his brother is a war hero returning home to the family after having been presumed killed in action, on his return home his recovery and settling back in to civilisation, and that his brother has befriended his wife and children........

Very good, but lacklustre

Overall it was a great film with fantastic acting from both Toby Maguire and Jake Gyllenhaal. However the ending left me a little dissatisfied. It builds and builds and builds and then the ending just seems shallow, not abrupt but just meatless and lacking substance. Which is a shame because the the entire film up until that point had been gripping. But overall, definitely a must watch.
