The most comfy shoes I've ever worn

I love walking, and walk for miles sometimes, but my feet are a living nightmare. Not only do I have very wide feet. Not only do I have fallen arches. But I also I had hammer toes, so bad that I needed an operation to partially straighten them. After the op I still had problems finding shoes that didn't cripple meand didn't look like orthopedic shoes! Then came Brooks Adrenaline Gts 19.

I can now walk freely, not wincing at evey step, not worrying if I can make it home wthout having to take a cab, not constantly focussing on the pain in my feet. I've even started running a little. Plus the shoes look cool! Paradise. I love these shoes.

Painful shins and foot.

Had to return the shoe.. Too painful and shins and bottom part of feet was burning just after 6 mile run. My Hoka bondi up and asics kayano 20 was torn and ready to be thrown out but I never had issues running on the ready to throw away asics shoe 3 days before I received this one. But this shoe the amount of pain in the shins and bottom part of the foot was so bad. Tried it on a treadmill even and the result was same. Had to return and not for me. Bought a Hoka and feeling much better.

Edit 7/8/2020: It took me forever to update this review, but here it is... After a couple weeks of wearing, the shoe was rubbing the top of his foot so badly we had to donate. What initially felt like support was really just a “too tight fit”. He was such a fan of the quality that we even went to a DSW after it opened up for indoor shopping and tried on a pair in wide, as well as a half size up and two other styles. All of them rubbed the top of his foot. I have lowered the stars to reflect the odd fit, but rest assured the tried and true Brooks quality is definitely there!

My husband loves these shoes! The shoe is true to size, has great arch and ankle support and good traction. My husband does a brisk 8 mile walk daily and this is the perfect shoe. They are a very lightweight, attractive shoe that gets the job done. He was a Nike devotee for years, and while he still wears Nike as a casual shoe, he says he’ll only wear Brooks for exercise from now on. Highly recommend.

I have been a constant Brooks runner for the last 4 years because Brooks brought me back.
However, I believe I made an error on this model- for my foot- positive side very stable!
Negative- just too damn hard!
Just ran a half Marathon in them a few days ago and I had arch pains after the race.
If you have tough feet and like a shoe that is stable you will probably love it-
I need a combination of the Ghost and the Glycerine system rolled into one design feature for me

The description is pretty accurate to a point. Their excuse for arch support was significantly dissapointing. Normally I go to a local shop to get a custom fitting because I have incredibly flat feet. No arch at all. And I thought I could save time and money by just ordering my next pair online. Truly a big mistake.

If you have flat feet, or some need for your feet that requires a custom fit. Go to your local shop and get a fitting done. Probably the only way you will have no issues in finding shoes that will make it comfortable to walk in.

Quality is down this year. They look great but within a week I started getting tears on the same spot on both shoes. Also gets dirty easier than last years. Don’t notice a difference in the “guiderails” feature. But they fit and perform great otherwise. GTS 18 is just a better shoe than the 19!

My disappointment stems from the tread wear of these shoes.I have about 175 miles on these shoes. I have already worn out the tread in less than three months. I may have to go back to the Beasts.
