and u can get tons of crap in the pockets.
They didn’t shrink ( huge bonus including tumble drying on hot ) washed superbly on 30C and I’m rather chuffed with these 1000 milers ( expected ).
They will outlive you.
They are not the “ aren’t I great look how skinny I am “ style that goes half way up your thighs ( 18 - 19.5 age ) but sit superbly comfortably and don’t crush your John Thomas when you’ve put your favourite hanky in one of the pockets ( always carry one chaps ).
Like em. Say no more,,,,,,,,,,
For less than £30, I'm definitely placing an order for another pair so I won't be bereft of these shorts over the summer come laundry day, of which I would imagine would stretch to several summers. I hope this review sums the shorts up and that you find it of help.
I've had these shorts for a couple of weeks now and am very happy with both the fit and quality, they have been washed a couple of times and show no signs of wear and tear as a result. I'm slightly wary of a zip fly, as there is a tendency for this to fail long before the shorts they're attached to wear out, but this zip appears to be of good quality, so hopefully it will last. Similarly the pockets seem to be well constructed, so I am hopefully of no problems with buttons detaching themselves over time.
I would describe the material as being a medium weight. Lighter than some cargo shorts that get unbearably hot in warm weather, but thicker than the very thin material used in walking shorts. The material has a bit of give in it, which makes for a comfortable, flexible fit.
I'm glad to have found this brand and will keep an eye out when I need casual wear in the future.
Quality material, feels good to the touch, and largely looks like the picture. As long as I only wash it on a 30 (the label says 30, not 40), they should last me a good, long time! Just need the weather now
EDIT- I bought these for £30. I was about to order more but they've increased the price to £40, which I feel is only borderline worth it.
Buttons on pockets a bit footery as you have a flap stitched on to another flap which is a bit of a pain if your fingers dont work properly. never mind i will leave the pocket open. overall a good pair of shorts for a change.
Thick material used and all stitched together very well....Great value for the money.
These might not be summer beach wear as the material is thick which makes the shorts are quite heavy but they are perfect for my use, rambling about here and there without worrying if they'll fall apart.
Would definitely buy again (though doesn't look like I will have to for a good long while).
