Buttons are loose enough to avoid a panic in the men's room, and for once I've not felt the need to remove the adjustment clips on either side of the waist (they normally chew through t-shirts and other thin tops with gusto!)
Good quality. Incredibly happy with them.
Edit: After owning these for 10 months, the stitching is coming away from the bottom of the button/crotch area - I'm not sure if it's related to my anatomical properties or whether it's just a one-off with the pants...
