ANOTHER GREAT SERIES BITES THE DUST. MEMORABLY AND ENDLESSLY REWATCHABLE
All good things must come to an end, it seems, but it’s probably better to leave on a HIGH rather than a low. What’s not to love about Bosch? Answer...nothing. Each seasons new storyline whether it has fully ignited our interest or not, always delivers on the character development of Bosch , his friends, associates and family. On this, this season did not disappoint. For me the main narrative was an improvement on last season and although disappointingly short seemed a lot more cohesive in its delivery. Occasionally just felt Bosch was losing his edge at times but personally I know I will be rewatching this for years to come with the fondest of memories.

...Damn
I really liked Bosch, binge watched each season pretty much as it came out after I found the 1st season on Amazon when browsing.
....This season, it's not good, filled with the dumb, on the nose political talking points its mostly been free of.
The police is now "infested with incels" yes that quote is from a character in the show and is not meant to be hyperbolic. The illegal immigrants are the good people and just oppressed by the greedy white corporations.

Still it's Bosch and the rest of it is good enough to not be 1 star. But I can't support this nonsense anymore. Won't be watching the show in future, or recommending it to anyone.

gone too soon
I don't know who made the decision to end one of the classiest shows on Prime but it is sad. I suppose it is good to go out on top . The whole cast is superb and the final series is as good as it gets. Perfection and will be missed.

The gold standard bows out.
I was hooked on Bosch within watching 5 minutes of the very first episode of season one.

Well written, with an ensemble cast of well-defined characters, Bosch is what I term 'four-minute TV'. Each episode draws the viewer in, and it seems like only four minutes has passed by the time the episode ends. Not many productions do that for me now. It has my total attention.

This show will be much missed by me. But nothing lasts for ever.

Utter tripe; the Wokes have taken over...
I have watched and thoroughly enjoyed all previous seasons of Bosch. And yes, the growing footprint of the Diversity Police and Woke Brigade could be seen as the seasons progressed, and yes boxes were most definitely ticked, but..., for the most part it was quite well done and our white heterosexual male lead stayed front and center. But then Season 7 arrived. Utter tripe... Everything we know about almost all of the main characters is reversed to meet a woke box-ticking agenda, and we end up with a show that Netflix would be proud of. Yes, it really is that bad. In fact, it's pretty close to being as bad as Star Trek Discovery... I will not repeat the many valid points of criticism you'll read in the vast majority of reviews here, and will only say the only way we'll ever stop this box-ticking invasion of total Wokeness in everything we try and watch is by doing what I and the vast majority of people are doing with Season 7 of Bosch, that being vote with the off switch and write a review like this. Then maybe just maybe..., the money men (whoops, can I say that? Shouldn't it be money men/women/non binary?) will fire the box-tickers and TV life will return to some form of normality. We can but hope...

Pure class. Fan of the books also. It's not the end. Another season is is the works apparently.
Yet another fantastic season IMHO. Titus Welliver was perfect as Bosch. Yes, in the books he's a different age, he's a veteran of a different war etc. but he owns this version of Harry completely. Supporting cast superb also. Cannot recommend higher. The books are great also. Highly recommended. There's even crossover with the Mickey Haller character (The Lincoln Lawyer played in the movie by Matthew McConaghy) in at least one of the books if I recall. Looking forward to the new season that apparently is in the works (although not on Amazon Prime). Cannot wait to see Titus play Harry as a P.I.

Loved the funny reference to 'The Wire' and 'Stringer Bell' involving J Edgar (Jamie Hector). Most will know this but if not, Jamie played the ruthless 'Marlo Stanfield' in 'The Wire'.

Sad to see the series end, but on a great note.
Well, there seem to be some people who gave this 1 star. They should be ashamed of themselves.

Brilliant series once again, wrapping everything up nicely.
The mirroring was superb, and great how it deals with that terrible USA practice of plea bargaining.
The mirroring is the INCEL and the Lieutenant, with Bosch and the Chief (and the FBI)
With the first, the attempt to squash it shows how easy it is for real issues of bullying, intolerance and prejudice against women can be swept under the rug, and any resistance to that can end up with life-changing suppression - all in the name of hiding the bad apples to save face.
With the second, the attempts to ignore the deaths of people in order to catch higher up drug dealers and cartel members leads to so many people never getting justice.
Yes, people will argue "it's better to get those bad drug dealers off the streets" ... well no, it isn't.
Innocent people suffer and do not get justice, while criminals and drug users trade each other to get away with murder.
Innocent people versus criminals and drug users.
Innocent people SHOULD take precedent over people who make a conscious choice to do illegal things.
"Oh no, they can't help it ... it's an illness"
Yes, they can.
An innocent person chooses to NOT break the law and yet they do not get justice.
That's the wrong message.
Everyone should be punished, witness protection should only be for innocent people.
Sue me.

The most consistent series on Amazon (no spoilers)
Bosch has been class from season 1 and built to this final season where it goes out on a high. It will not be for everyone, the pace can slow, but even for some scenes where little happens, you are sometimes drawn back to them as the plot develops.

The cast are superb, from Titus Welliver as Harry Bosch through the excellent supporting cast, and develops through the seasons as different back stories are explored and develop. The procedure is convincing and I like the way that some cases just fizzle out while others develop in unexpected ways.

This is the last season which is a shame but better than letting run out of steam. Truly great TV, if you have missed it give it a try, but prepare to be hooked!
