My height problems aside, I think that these are great. They're really comfy, they look awesome when worn with my harness boots and do what jeans are meant to do...
Watch out, mind... The belt is sharper than a sharp thing and actually drew a little blood when I tried to have a good old scratch the other day. I had to ditch it in favour my usual belt, but that's no biggy. I didn't buy them for the belt and the pain made me feel alive!
I'll buy these again, no problem!
First things first Are they wide leg? Kinda. They're still tight around my thigh, but the fact I can get them over my thigh shows they're looser fitting than about 80% of other jeans out there. Not wide enough for me, but I do consider myself an edge case.
The biggest issue I have is the waist / seat. My other trousers at 38inch waist are all either extremely loose, needing a belt to hold them up, or at least comfortably loose. These are tight. Not "uncomfortably" tight, but they definitely run tighter than my other trousers do.
As for the seat, once again they're tight. Not to the level that things are being crushed. But to the point I'm pretty sure everyone can see the outlines if you catch my drift.
Again in comparison to all my other trousers recently, the leg feels like it runs a little longer than most. This could be the flared style, but it's only a little bit.
Considering the price, I'm not returning them (I really can't as my last spare pair ripped the other day) but I would highly recommend ordering one waist size up, and one leg size down.
