Looks very nice on my Macbook
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 10 April 2022
The beauty of the MacBook personally made me want to add a case so I could keep it in as good condition as possible.I ordered this case so that I could protect the aluminium casing, while also showing off the looks, and not being too unwieldy. The 2021 MacBook Pro is already a pretty thick laptop, so adding a case definitely adds to the bulk considerably. There are two versions, the clear and the crystal clear. I got the clear version and it’s pretty clear, I’m not sure how they can feasibly make it clearer. The two halves of the shell clip onto their respective parts, make sure that you install them in the correct position so they click into place and fit well when shut. You can see some of the edges rise and some are flush with the surfaces. An example of this would be on the corner edges of the bottom piece, which I think they’ve designed to allow room for not only the clip not to interfere with the bottom half, but also so it’s more comfortable if you were to rest your wrists on it.The pieces clip and feel well secured. Looking at the side, you can see the contours on the edges, and their attempt at trying to make the two pieces match the same size. While not perfect, they do a decent job, and it does allow the two pieces to close properly, which was one of the fears I had initially. The case also provides further benefits such as the feet actually being rubbery, so the laptop slips less, and that the vent on the bottom of the laptops aren’t as exposed since they are further covered by part of the plastic case. It’s not the thinnest piece of plastic, but a good thickness. The keyboard cover works surprisingly well bing so it stays on the keys well without feeling too loose. It would be nicer if it was a softer material, but other than that, I think it’s a good inclusion, especially when this can help prevent damage if dirt gets through the gaps. It’s probably safe on the screen, but I would personally like an additional screen protector just in case, since this material doesn’t feel as soft as some of the silicone ones that I have tried. There is also a small cloth with one side having grippy dots. I initially thought this was to keep the screen clean and prevent the imprint of the keys on the screen, but it is not large enough for that. It turns out it’s to be used as a rudimentary mousepad and/or cleaning cloth (on the soft side of course).Overall, while a screen protector would have been very nice, at the price of £17-18 (which is a little lower than some of the other reviews for some reason), I definitely think this is worth considering if you want to both protect the outside of the laptop while also showing off its design. I am very happy with this shell, and the combination of the polycarbonate with the laptop really has an elegant look, with many people commenting about it. It's also great that the bottom of the case has actual rubber feet, which is of course and improvement from the plastic-like feet that come on the MacBooks.

BlueSwan’s hard case will protect and highly restore your MacBook so it will not look so old over time.
The case is specifically designed for MacBook Pro A2485 M1 Pro / M1 Max 2021. It is made of high-quality PC plastic with high impact strength that has a wide temperature range and good dimensional stability. It has lots of air vents at the bottom side making it really good for heat dissipation. It is also transparent so you can still see the original design of your device.
In addition, it has a keyboard cover that is made with high transparency and engineering grade TPU material. It is 0.12 mm think so it will not damage the screen of your laptop. The case also comes with a 2-in-1 cleaning cloth, with this you can use it as a cleaning cloth itself or a mouse pad.
Honestly, this is my first-time trying this kind of product and so far, I am not disappointed. This is not unusual, because we commonly use cases like this for phones but I am glad that there’s one for laptops. Talking about its quality, it is indeed amazing. It seems durable and looks like it will last for a long time.
For £24.99, this is a really good buy and definitely cheaper than the other brands. I am happy to recommend this.

Great Fit, Adds Protection, Transparent & Bright, Exposes All Ports, Adds Very Little Bulk
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 27 March 2022Size Name: 2021 Macbook Pro 14"Colour Name: ClearVine Customer Review of Free Product( What's this? )
I had previously ordered the BlueSwan Hard Case Compatible for New MacBook Pro 14” for my daughters new Macbook, and I was impressed with the machine so much that I bought the 16” unit for myself, wanting to keep it protected and in pristine condition, I also ordered the BlueSwan Hard Case 16” version.
It arrived in a large retail style but unbranded cardboard sleeve type box with a transparent window on the front and all the necessary instructions for fittoing on the rear. measuring 365 x 255 x 22mm and weighing 435g on my scales. Within the sleeve the contents are the shrink wrapped MacBook 16” case in two pieces, a cleaning cloth and a keyboard cover. The
After reading the instructions and wiping down the case to remove fingerprints etc, I followed the order stated in the instructions to install the bottom and top shell covers, which lined up perfectly and snapped onto the MacBook Pro 16” with a satisfying click. Looking at the edges and the alignment of the shell, it fits the laptop perfectly, it does have slightly sharper edges, but they do not protrude such that you can catch yourself on them when fitted. All of the required ports etc are exposed so they are just as usable as they are without the shell. I was a little confused by the vent holes since the MacBook Pro itself is a solid aluminium base with no airflow – but perhaps it stops any sweating with heat between the laptop base and the shell? I was not impressed with the keyboard cover which feels thin and moves when typing so that will not be getting any use. The case itself being transparent as requested is nice and clear, bright and feels like it is adding not too much in size to the Laptop, it also adds a little confidence that the TPU plastic is adding some protection and definitely preventing the unit from receiving damage from day to day impacts. I like the case on the MacBook Pro so wanted to retain its look as much as possible hence the transparent case request.
Overall I am happy with the BlueSwan Hard Case, which gives me more confidence in taking it out and about when using my camera or when travelling, it looks pretty good, adds little bulk and isn’t too slippery so the grip is good. At £19.98 when reviewed I think it represents good value as a protective shell.
