Water resistant leather uppers and robust construction ensure that the Rigger Boot will last the test of time in the following environments; construction, agriculture and manual labour.
EN20345:2011 S1-P SRC
Certified to the recognised EN20345 standard, the S1-P rating means you get top level protection: steel toecap for protection against impact, protective midsole to prevent piercing from sharp objects such as nails, an energy absorbing heel for comfort and anti-static sole. In addition, the SRC rating given refers to the highest slip resistance rating, making the Rigger Boot suitable for where there are risks of slips and trips in the workplace.
Benefits at a glance
- Steel toe cap and protective steel midsole for protection against potential hazards penetrating the boot from above or underneath
- Water resistant uppers - providing a longer lasting boot which can be used outdoors in wet conditions
- Fur lining provides added warmth and comfort
- TPU kick plate heel - for easy removal and added protection around the heel area
- Energy absorbing heel to reduce foot fatigue
- Double density PU shock absorbent sole
- Wide fitting for added comfort
Double density PU shock absorbent sole with ladder grip
A PU injected sole unit provides a strong bond between the upper unit and sole unit of the Rigger Boot. This helps enable increased protection for the steel midsole that is located within the sole. In addition, the double density sole increases abrasion resistance and protection whilst lasting longer for the wearer, with the shock absorbent heel area adding comfort and protection when required. The addition of the ladder grip ensures maximum grip and slip resistance when climbing ladders.
Within the leather upper of the SF01 Rigger Boot runs a fur lining throughout. The lining helps provide additional warmth, which in return is ideal for cold working conditions including working in cold storage. Furthermore, the lining also provides added comfort for the wearer which is extremely important when you are on your feet all day.
Kick pad heel area
The TPU kick pad heel area allows the wearer to easily remove the Rigger Boots after use. It also helps the boot resist scuffs and wear, while providing added protection around the heel area.
Pull Straps for easy access
Pull straps located at the top of the SF01 Rigger Boot provides the wearer with easy access when putting the boot on. This feature stems from years of customers struggling to pull their boots on due to wearing thick socks and the height of the boot. The pull straps are firmly attached to the upper which enables the user to easily pull on the boot without experiencing wear or tear.
Protective Toe Cap
The SF01 Rigger Boot comes with a steel toe cap, providing up to 200-joule impact resistance and protection from any objects that may penetrate the toe area. There are multiple alternatives within the industry for protective toe caps, most commonly steel and non-metallic (also known as composite) which provide excellent protection.
A protective midsole can be found moulded inside the sole unit of your SF01 Rigger Boot, the midsole is steel and much like the toe cap will provide protection from any objects that may penetrate through underneath the footwear. Midsoles can be steel or non-metallic, with the non-metallic midsoles found in 'composite' footwear.
Fuel Oil Resistant Sole Unit
A fuel oil resistant sole unit allows wearers to gain the maximum performance from the slip resistant sole unit when working in wet and oily conditions. It also means that no fuel oil will penetrate through the sole unit or leave the sole unit stained after being worn.
Energy Absorbing Heel
The energy absorbing heel properties that the SF01 Rigger Boot has ensures that the boot takes the majority of the impact when jumping, running or walking. This helps prevent injuries to the lower back and joint pain which can be a result of shock absorption around the heel area. When working on your feet all day it is Imperative that the footwear you have is comfortable and takes away any added stress from your feet.
Anti-static threading can be found sewn into the insole sock of your SF01 Rigger Boot, this thread meets pockets of PU bleed from the sole which then eliminates build up of static electricity. These properties are ideal for use when an electric charge can put the wearer in danger. For example, working in an environment with flammable liquids and gases requires anti-static footwear.
Slip Resistant Sole Unit
A slip resistant rating is given to every pair of safety footwear on the market, this will either be an SRA or SRC rating. To achieve an SRC rating like the SF01 Rigger Boot, a safety boot/shoe must first pass both SRA and SRB testing. SRA testing uses a ceramic floor tile wetted with soapy solution and SRB testing uses smooth stainless steel with glycerol. If both of these tests are achieved an SRC rating is given, if only SRA is achieved the footwear will only adhere to SRA and will be identified as so.

Very comfortable and warm in winter and cool in summer. I feel very safe on construction sites and using power tools. Can easily walk through oil / petrol mud and gravel with confidence.
Extremely durable and my last pair lasted 12 years.
Yes they are a little heavy and require a little breaking-in but once that's done they are excellent.
I also fitted gel innersoles for extra cushioning when stood on concrete floors. Never had cold feet.
Employee said he was a size 7 and size 7 ordered and fit ok.
Have now spent considerable time trying to return ie contacting manufacturer etc because its over the 30 day with no joy. Have returned items before with no problem. These boots are not fit for purpose. It may just be a just one faulty pair but I am disappointing and frustrated trying to return them
I thought about a pair of lined Crocs but was shocked by the price.
These boots are perfect for my requirements. They're easy to slip on, lined and half the price of Crocs. The protection around the toe and in the midsole mean they can do double duty for garden work (mowing, stone-moving, stamping the recycling down into the bins - all the usual stuff).
I've not extensively tested them in the rain but so far have been very satisfied.

Oct 2020... Just bought another pair. The first pair lasted 11 months constant wear, used every day including most weekends on all sorts of sites and surfaces. Very hard use. The sole came away from the boot. I could have glued it but the expensive epoxy resin glue was not worth the money I paid for the boots. I thought about buying a £65 pair and hope they would last 3 years but then I thought I would rather spend £23 and get a new pair each year.

I have only had them for 11 weeks but I use them every day in my garden & they are a very snug & comfy.
Much better than my previous laced boots, so easy to slip on a charge out into the garden & fields.
I waxed them when I first got them & so far they are completely waterproof!
A delight to wear. Highly recommended
