I think that some reviewers have suggested that these leggings are not like the American Apparel leggings that they have bought in the past, so they're different from what AA sold in their stores. I don't agree: I've actually had over a dozen (yes, really) American Apparel leggings over the years, and the fact is that they've ALWAYS been very variable, even when they were exactly the same style.
That being said, I've had several of these exact leggings from them, although I've had many others that were different, so if you are looking for an exact replacement for what you've had before, that's just a matter of chance I'm afraid.
What I can say is that they are good quality, a great fit, high waist, neither particularly thin or thick.
Personally, AA leggings are my favourite, and I can recommend them.
