Great laptop sleeve at a fraction of the price of other sleeves

A lot of staff in our office have laptops and have nice fancy cases and sleeves for them to take their devices out and about to meetings or to work from home.

I've had a feel of these other cases, tried it with my laptop and then compared it with this AmazonBasics Laptop Sleeve that I purchased for half the price. And I prefer the AmazonBasics one by a mile.

It's a much nicer material. It's more flexible and easier to get your laptop in and out of. The only thing it's lacking is an outside pocket, but overall for the price you pay for this laptop sleeve, it's an obvious choice to protect your laptop.

Save yourself the money on the expensive brands and grab this for a fraction of the price to do the job just fine.

I wanted a small sleeve for my new Huawei 14" Matebook PC and this seemed like a reasonable buy.

I saved a small amount by purchasing this 'as new' from Amazon Warehouse. Indeed, it arrived next day and even the packaging was pristine. The case is a snug fit, lightweight and offers reasonable protection for the notebook when I'm on my travels. I usually put the sleeve (with PC inside) into my rucksack and all fits comfortably.

So, for the price, this is an excellent sleeve that meets my needs more than adequately. I also saved a fortune over rip-off high street prices! I am rather chuffed.....

Nice case for 13" laptops

The case is well made and has a nice colour. The width is slightly larger and the laptop rattles a bit.
Amazon is horrible when it comes to correct dimensions. First they have stated the External dimensions: 39.6 x 30.5 cm x 2.0 cm which is incorrect. The item description has a much more accurate estimate: 34.3 x 24.4 x 2 cm
Here are the Actual Dimensions: External:34x26x0.23cm and the Internal:33x24.5x1.5cm
Slightly bigger laptops can be forced in since the case is made of Neoprene and is a bit flexible. Also being slightly bigger is not quite a problem because you can leave in the USB port the WIFI mouse dongle or a little USB drive.

Cheap way to protect 8" devices.

I've bought a couple of these to protect 8" (14mm thick) screens in computer kit bags and I am confident they'll be fully protected no matter what they brush up against in the bag, even if the bag gets thrown about our takes a fall. I wouldn't want to drop them far outside of the added protection of the kit bag, but I was never really expecting Samsonite.

It's a soft plush cushioned material about 8mm thick with piping around the edges to offer further protection. It's well made and does everything you could expect at a very reasonable price. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another for a similar requirement.

Amazon Basics is a reliable brand for common basic requirements. I've never regretted anything I've bought, or found it too "basic".

I wanted to use this item for storing something other than an 11.6-Inch Laptop / Chromebook / MacBook Air, so the dimensions were important. The external ones are given as 39.6 x 30.5 x 2.0 cm. They are in fact 31.0 x 23.0 x 2.0cm, in relative terms a considerable difference. On a quick look at other sizes they all seem to be given the same dimensions. Come on Amazon, get your act together before you are reported under the Sale of Goods Act which requires that all goods that are bought or sold in the UK be as described, which this item clearly isn’t.

For the price this is a great case / sleeve. The materials feel very high end and have a quality feel to them with a good strong zip that won't pull apart if you over stuff the sleeve. Amazon really nailed the quality on this product its absolutely faultless. I'm using mine to store a 10 inch tablet. My only criticism is the neoprene is fairly thin, so while it will prevent scratches and minor dents / knocks If the case took a major hit, say if you had it in a backpack and a power plug pressed against it, then I think it would dent the device inside. Having said that it's no better or worse than other sleeves at this price point. I already own a case logic sleeve and also looked a the techgear option, for another 10 percent in price it might be worth considering these if you want to up the protection level.

The case is made of light, thin and protective black neoprene. It is a good fit for my 8-inch tablet. The top is closed by a single zip. I have yet to be disappointed by any of my Amazon basics purchases. This is a quality case and represents excellent value for money at around £7.

A bit too big for a MacBook Air but good value

This is a well made product with a nice soft lining to protect the MacBook Air and a neoprene outer shell. The plastic zip along the top looks up to the job and I don't expect it to fail. The edges, but not the bottom, have a nice fabric cover, extending a little bit around the bottom corners. As the bottom is not protected, I expect the neoprene will eventually wear, though this laptop isn't going to have to go through the rigours of travelling thousands of miles in a motorcycle pannier as has been the case with many of my previous laptops. I've given it four stars for the rated features (and five for value for money) but taken off one star because it's about 3 cm too tall for my 2020 MacBook Air M1. It's a closer fit lengthwise so it won't accept the laptop fitted with its USB-C plug in hub, though that's not a big deal.

All in all, good value, well made and does the job with only one minor complaint.
