I originally ordered these snow pants for ice fishing. They got the job done and were warm and waterproof, but extremely poorly made. When I first received these snow pants, the top hook had already fallen off before I had even tried them on. I didn’t think it was that big of a deal so I just sewed it back on and reinforced the other. On the first day of wearing them, the fastener of the hook came off and I had to stitch it back up. So, that makes one hook that wasn’t even sewed on, one that was loose, and a fastener that fell off.
As for the fit, I ordered an xl and the waist was loose, but the butt and thighs were on the tight side but nothing unbearable. That is until the butt seam ripped on the third wear. Overall these snow pants were very poorly made.

On me, these pants are big in the waist even when using the velcro tabs to cinch them in, fit well in the hips, and are tight in the thighs. I can wear them, but they aren’t the most comfortable to move in. I don’t think sizing up would be a good choice since I’m not sure pants that are even larger in the waist would stay up. These are warmly insulated with polyester fill and seem well constructed. The gaiters feature four thin lines of rubbery material to keep them in place plus a metal hook for connecting to ski boots. The two zippered front pockets are lined with a soft synthetic flannel rather than the slick polyester material used to line the pants themselves. The polyurethane coated nylon exterior sheds water well and feels durable. I do think these would look a bit more upscale if they’d used black velcro that matches the pants rather than white for the waist tabs. Overall, these seem like quality snow pants, but the fit issues make these a miss for me.

These will keep you dry and warm, but you may need to size up. I found these very snug--too snug to use for shoveling or any other purpose that requires a lot of bending as I'm concerned they may split. I have a 45" hip and would have been better off with an XL.

Aside form the sizing issue, I'm happy with them.
