Good underlayer, soft and thin, comfortable

There's not a lot to say about this, because it's a pretty basic pair of tights. For reference I run about 3-4x per week, and depending on the weather in the mid-Atlantic states, sometimes I prefer an underlayer for some additional warmth. The thickness and length of these certainly helps on cooler, chillier days.

I'm 5'7", 145 pounds, with a small athletic build. The size medium fits me well. These are 84% polyester and 16% elastane, which is a wide ratio, but provides a lot of stretch. I have no problem getting these on or off. The trim materials, like the waistband, is 90% polyester and 10% elastane, so you'll get a bit more support in those areas. Overall, as a result, these are light and breathable, and dry quickly.

All seams are stitched incredibly well and appear to be strong. The inside of the waistband is soft. There are interior tags at the middle back of the waistband, which is a good spot and they didn't irritate me (I don't cut tags unless they bother me). Since they are tights, they taper in the legs, but not insanely so, which aids in getting them on and off. There is a single small semi-reflective logo of vertical stripes on the front left leg, otherwise these don't scream branding, and nobody will know what you're wearing.

The pouch area is designed for men specifically, and I did not find it crowded or restricting, thanks to the abundance of elastane. It is a double-layered mesh design, so it breathes. While I say these tights are primarily an underlayer, these could easily be worn as an outer layer if you're comfortable and confident enough to be seen in tights. That said, there's no lining in these to hide anything, so you'd likely want a layer under them if using them as an outer layer.

As 3/4 tights, they always feel weird to me at first, but that quickly passes. Based on my height, these cover my knees and my calves, helping to add a bit of compression, definition to my legs, and of course, some warmth. I find them useful on fall and spring days when the temperatures start dipping below 60F but above 45F. They are not thermally lined and won't be useful much in really cold weather.

From a care perspective, they recommend washing in warm and tumble dry low. Personally, I would wash in cold and then hang dry, since I feel like hang-drying will aid in their longevity. They will dry incredibly fast. I feel they wash and dry well for me.

Overall, these are a welcome addition to my running wardrobe, and I wouldn't hesitate buying another.

Great 3/4 thermal baselayer by Amazon Essential

Excellent underlayer by Amazon Essentials, those are perfect for pretty much any exercise activities, basketball, soccer, cycling I even plaid tennis in them in those colder days. The fit is almost perfect, they go high enough around your waist and around the legs, the length is good and ends up above my calves and right below my knee, I am 5 foot 10 inches by the way. The material is stretchy and thin, but at the same time provides enough support and compression for a good comfort, the only issue I see for me personally is the waist band needs to be a little bit thicker, at least for me it’s more comfortable with wider band. The stitching is good, nonintrusive and you can almost not feel it at all, overall, I like those 3/4 underlayer pants, and I think they are priced correctly as well.

It's pretty darn stretchy that's for sure and I only notice because I've had trouble in the past with some compression tights being too tight. So in that regarding, it's very forgiving and won't cause much chafing. Although I think when you're outside, you'd want to pair this with some shorts as most folks will think of these as leggings. Well I mean they are, they're a base layer which you can use for running or other physical activity.

Summary: I think this is a good option to have in case you wanted to have compression pants without buying compression pants. They aren't as tight as compression tights but essentially accomplish the same thing. The only thing I'm not sure on if they're moisture wicking. Otherwise, going too hard on working out on this wouldn't be too great.

Comfortable fit

These tights for men are good to have for a variety of reasons. First, the fit is nice and comfortable. They stretch and flex to fit around various sizes and shapes of muscles and body types. They do hold everything in place nicely. They're made from both 84% Polyester and 16% Elastane. They can be washed with my regular laundry which is nice because I don't like sorting everything. I like wearing them for workouts and runs. They're perfect for stretching and playing sports as well. I certainly would recommend them. :)

good budget-priced compression tights

These are not the best compression pants that I own, but they are very good for the budget price. Stretchy fabric is not as well contoured as the name brands, but it has even moderate compression and support throughout. Works great as a base layer under a sports uniform or under gym shorts or sweatpants. Good support for recreational workouts. Size medium fits as expected.
