while ordering some more Under Armor briefs this popped up as another similar item at a huge discount.
I tried 1 pair as the cost was fine if it did not work out. was pleasantly surprised when the support and fit was very similar to the name brand version., I went ahead and ordered several more pair and will likely only order these from now on.

These are great, just like my under armour ones at half the price. The only issue with these are that they need to make them tagless. The tags are uncomfortable but scissors take care of that quickly.

The shorts arrived in a nondescript plastic bag devoid of branding. having a little paper tag attached with one of those plastic string things that you have to cut off, but that's to be expected. The construction is remarkably decent for how light they are. The stretch factor is good, and they have a retro-reflective patch on the left leg. Quality of stitching was great, as is the material itself.

Comfort wise? they feel great, even on my 42 inch waist. They have decent range of motion, and can be worn for extended periods of time without a single issue. Biggest complaint is that you really need to be wearing a set of sport underwear as well, your standard cotton underpants like to bunch up and looks awful.

And speaking of awful, I can't wear just these out of private. The material has great compression qualities, but leaves little to the imagination regarding your junk, even when wearing the proper underpants. They're very similar in that regard to the longer version, also on Amazon. Besides the sport skivvies requirement, they'd be fine for running and cycling, assuming you're able to keep the twig and berries concealed. I plan to keep them for home workouts, or as a under layer.

This is a great base layer. Comfortable, suitably snug but not stupidly so.

The way this is advertised leaves some doubt about whether these are shorts or a base layer. Take it from me: they're a base layer. I would risk arrest were I to shuffle outside in these with nothing o'er top. That's not gonna' happen.

But for a well-priced and very nicely constructed base-layer short for athletic activities, you won't do better than this.

Breathable yet supportive!

As other reviews mentioned these really aren't shorts they're definitely more like bike shorts like workout boxers. My husband uses them as underwear for long work days and they stay in place and keep him comfortable!

They have the right combination of stretch and hold to keep everything where it needs to be while still keeping you comfortable!
