Recommended - but keep an eye on the price

Not sure what all the comments regarding poor fit are looking at. I'm a medium in pretty much everything I own, so I bought a medium here - and it fits well.

Happy with the purchase, particularly at the price I paid for it. There's not much in the way of insulation or waterproofing, but the canvas-like material is definitely windproof and was great walking outside in early spring with what the weather forecast referred to as a "fresh breeze".

There isn't any stretch in the fabric, so I guess I can see why some struggled to get it off. Did I struggle? No. It went on over my head, and it came off over my head. Not rocket science, and not requiring any kind of contortion or dislocation to do so.

Recommended - but keep an eye on the price which can fluctuate enormously.

A good hoodie.

It is a nicely designed hoodie and it is comfortable to wear. Based on some reviews I bought an x-large instead of a large one and it fits fine. Description of the jacket is poor it says nothing about lining the jacket is lined with polyester, I would prefer it without lining. Outer fabric is rather thin the hoodie wouldn't be strong enough for hiking for example. So three stars.

This is a lovely thick heavy top/jacket which is guaranteed to keep you warm on a cold day. It fits perfectly and looks well, but is a pain in the backside to get off again. You need to dislocate your shoulder and mess up your hair to take it off again :)

Sometimes I wear this around the house, as easily as I will wear it outdoors, so it's almost a multifunctional jacket. The pocket at the front is one long pocket, which I like. I have been wearing this for around a month, and it shows no signs of ripping or tearing yet.

Weird fit spoils it

The photos of this jacket were reminiscent of the 'wind cheaters' I used to wear as a kid. But as soon as I received it, I noticed that this is much heavier, thicker material. As noted on the product description, the outer is a cotton/nylon blend. What is not noted is the 100% polyester lining, which completely spoils any chance at breathability.

Unfortunately, this jacket fails due to its weird fit. You have to pull it over your head, which proved to be challenging. I am 5'11" and 12 stone 8 (80kg), by no means fat. I take a 42 regular in suits. This jacket was sold as a 42 size (although the label inside actually just says Large). I would say it is WAY undersized.

The material has no 'give' and I had to wrestle it on. Once on, it was definitely on the 'slim fit' side - OK over a T-shirt, but a thick jumper would be too much. Also, to my amazement, the arms were on the short side. For info, I buy my work shirts with sleeves 3" shorter than regular, so for these sleeves to be short on me means they would be ridiculous on anyone average!
Finally, the hood. I have a large head, but the hood was still loose. There is a string to pull the opening closed, but this could not get it snug to my head, so in wet and windy weather my head would get soaked.

Any positives? Well, the colour is a nice dark khaki, and the actual design is quite stylish (if only it fitted properly). But the terrible cut of this jacket means I will not be able to wear it, as it is just unusable.

Fit: true to size. I'm normally between medium and small and I was just about able to wear this with a jumper, so I imagine someone who normally wears a small would be happy with the fit.

I like the simple and futuristic cut of this jacket, but I don't really like certain aspects of it in terms of practicality.
1. It's quite tricky to get into due to being a smock/pullover style - the material isn't stretchy at all, so you need to be relatively precise with pulling it over your head if you don't want to get a bit tangled up...
2. The lower string toggles are inconveniently located just in front of the crotch and it juts looks weird. Tying them looks weird too. I'd much prefer them at the sides.
3. The material is pretty absorbent, so even though it has a hood, it isn't particularly water resistant. It'll keep you dry for a 5 minute walk to the shops, but not much more than that.

Overall: attractive but impractical, so 3 stars.

Find brand continues to impress

I've been lucky to have few free clothing items made by the Find brand via the Amazon Vine programme. It is Amazon's own clothing brand, and pitches in at just above H&M price point.
Like the other items I have tried, this cagoule jacket is well made, with strong stitching and thick robust material. The coat fits well in the body and on the arm, and is well proportioned throughout, including on the hood.
The buttons look good (a bad button choice can make any coat look bad) and do up easily. The pocket on the front opens on both sides and is very capacious.
Overall, great quality coat. Find is a good choice for plain wardrobe staples.

This is a very smart, trendy jacket, and would suit any age. I know this because Grandson is wearing it, even though it was meant for hubby. Nice clean, uncluttered design, but I would say more of a top than a jacket. The material, which is largely cotton, is quite thick and feels like gaberdine, so it could be worn in all weathers.
It looks very hard-wearing, and although I haven't washed it yet, it will probably be fine on a 30 or 20 degree wash.
Very pleased with this, and I know it will get a lot of wear.

I’ve had a number of Find products recently and been pretty impressed and this jacket is no exception. The material is nice and sturdy and along with the hood it’s perfect to wear about in the current early springs days and nights. It’s a nice balance between being heavy enough to keep you warm but light enough you could just wear it over a shirt or T-shirt. There’s a couple of pockets and it zips up at the front. It’s one of those jackets that can be worn everyday or could be worn out at night in the pub without looking at all scruffy. The fit is pretty good - goes towards being a bit spacious. Really like this.

This is a neat fitting jacket, which pulls on over the head. My brother would usually wear a T-shirt or jumper in a large size.
This is khaki colour with a drawstring hem and collar. It has three large buttons at the neck and is hooded. It also has large pocket at the front.
There isn’t much give or stretch to the jacket and is quite slim fighting. However, it is nice on but I think I would order a few sizes bigger next time.

Stylish, understated, relaxed, and smart this find Mens Cotton Cagoule is a great choice for a modern hoodie without the hoodie label or negative associations. This could be viewed as more of a fishermans smock, but its too smart for that. The cagoule defies definition, but is well sized, comfortable, warm and relaxed. You’ll get into a nightclub wearing this. Smart. Generously sized but not swampy, I’m loving this. Impressed

Fits perfectly for the size (S in this instant). Very comfortable and light to wear but keeps you warm and dry also. The hood is good at staying more or less up even in very strong head winds, once you've zipped up everything. Very roomy front compartment also. Lovely material, doesn't feel cheap. Excellent coat - no complaints!
