A couple of weeks ago me and a few friends went camping as we do every few months. During the second day whilst on a hike though the woods me and my friends encountered a brown bear. Up until this particular camping trip I did not have of my own rucksack so could not bring my own supply of essentials. Once we encountered the bear me and my faster running friends started to remove our boots and our bags to help us run faster (for the record we were all fully aware that we can't outrun a bear, but we could outrun our "bigger set" friend). As we turned and started running the friend we left behind panicked and picked up my new bag and in no time at all he grabbed one of the bottles of mayonnaise I had in there and sprayed it at the bear. From there one after the other he sprayed the contents of each bottle at the bear and after looking like a girl after a fairly major gangbag #spunkgunked the bear for what ever reason decided to leave him alone. This bag was a miracle..... If I had gotten a bag that took too long to arrive or couldn't carry enough mayonnaise my dear friend would be dead, but thanks to this bag he lives to see another day

I cycle to work. This back pack is perfect for carrying my lunch, bike chain. Surprisingly how much space in it. I like to shop once or twice a week and as a single man on a bike it's great for that too.

The bag hasn't been tested for an extended period of time, and it has not had a good water resistance testing, but I wouldn't expect it to be super tough or be able to resist prolonged submersion in a river. It keeps the rain out and seems durable enough to last a long time and not damage easily. That is all I was looking for and the bag does it just fine.

The main bonus is how small, lightweight, comfortable and easy to use the bag is. No messing about with excess straps and clips, it just quickly slips on and off in a brief moment, and stays on well. There is a large interior elasticated compartment good for storing large flat objects like tablet computers and books, and a smaller compartment with zip for small items. Outside there are two convenient side pockets which are quite easy to access while wearing the backpack, I put a small water bottle in one and stuff a floppy hat into the other. There is also a compartment with zip on the back at the bottom, but it doesn't stick out very much so isn't good for storing very bulky items if the main compartment behind it is also full of bulk.

I'm very impressed with the backpack. It's exactly what I was looking for. Currently it contains some shoes, a cooking pot, a cup, a towel, a small fishing kit, a kite, a digging trowel, a small musical instrument, a medium sized water bottle, swimming trunks and several small items and there's still plenty of space left for more stuff. And carrying it all around over long distances, sometimes running and climbing, the backpack never gets annoying and uncomfortable to always be wearing it.

Bought this as a light weight backpack for daily commute. The material of the bag appears to be very durable and robust and appears to be water resistant so good for light showers however not sure I would consider it waterproof. There's a large pocket at the front with 2 side pockets for a small umbrella. Internally there's a zip pocket inside for change and the middle is split into 2 areas. It's large enough to carry a 15inch laptop (25cm x 35cm) which I do. However, it doesn't have the protective padding you would get on a proper laptop bag.

For me the bag isn’t of sufficient quality for the price I paid, I’ve checked on other sites and you can get the same quality for less than half the price, also I’m the same height as the model shown in the picture and the back pack looks smaller on than shown in the picture,
