VINE VOICE
There is so much wrong with this coat, I don't know where to start. It didn't arrive in the black colour shown, which was not really an issue. The very light grey/off white would at least be safer to wear outside, although it might restrict its usefulness in having to be cleaned more regularly. The main problem is the sizing. I take a 'Large' in almost anything, from a T-shirt, to coats of all types and styles. But this coat is just not big enough. It would be better to think of it as a 'Medium' fit at best, as the snug styling and skinny-fit design left me feeling more like a sausage in a skin, once it was zipped up.
This is strange, as the sleeve and body lengths were all correct, but even wearing it over a cotton shirt, it was immediately uncomfortable from it being too tight. The rubbery material has little give in it, which didn't help. That same rubbery material will make you feel hot and sweaty in no time too I suspect, as it is mostly unlined inside. The shallow pockets are lined with a white mesh, and you can be certain that keys will soon snag in that, if carried in those pockets. On the plus side, I believe it would be waterproof, so keep you dry. The zip and pop-stud fastenings are solid, and worked well, and the hood was big enough to adequately cover my head. But the size issue, and lack of a decent lining, means only two stars I'm afraid. This will sadly be relegated to 'emergency use only', in the event of an unexpected downpour.

I was expecting 'Black' but received very light grey. There is a polyester netting inside and the outside is 100% polyurethane, making it properly waterproof. It has a black zip all the way up the front to the throat and also poppers. The cuffs have poppers you can button down and the drawstring around the hood, pulls in tight. It has two side pockets which secure with poppers. It has a popped vent across the back but I don't know why.
It is labelled as being made in China. It NOT machine washable as stated on the page spec but only hand-washable. It appears to be well made.
I received the Medium and here are the measurements: underarm to underarm measures 20.5 inches. Top of shoulder to the bottom of the cuff measures 26 inches – (the arms are long.) The measurement across the back of the shoulders from arm seam to arm seam is 17.5 inches. The measurement from to to base is 32 inches.
I would say this is a small medium. It will keep you dry. It is quite utilitarian looking – the sort of thing a lollipop man might wear. I really can't call it stylish. But if you like plain and practical, it may appeal.

I received the "silver grey" version of this raincoat, but I think "beige" is more accurate. Wearing it is a slightly odd feeling, as it feels rubbery and oppressive, with not much give in it, but it does what it is meant to in keeping the wet out, and the zip works well. It feels a bit small for XL and putting it on over a t-shirt I found it to be uncomfortably itchy on the arms. I'm sorry to say I feel it is more practical than comfortable, but only practical to that one specific need of keeping the rain out. The pockets are limited to a stingy two on the front, which are buttoned rather than zipped, which I dislike. It smells as well. There is no loop to hang it up on, so if you want to take it off anywhere outside of the house and don't happen to be Tinky Winky (i.e. have a coathanger on your head), you're going to have to hang it up by the hood. I appreciate having it for emergencies but I can't recommend it.

White came, not black - feels thick and unwieldy, also tight. Looks like fetish gear!

Well it came and it is a rather silly WHITE Colour and does look a bit daft.
The material feels like a rubber sheet, not very flexible in todays 22C heat and would be even stiffer in the British -4C temperatures.
This coat fits as it should and has a nice long arm length. It is made of a strong material and is pretty much waterproof.
It does have a slight rubbery feel to it but it is comfy to wear. The coat has an inner lining which makes it warm to wear.
Will add it to the car boot for emergency rain wear instead - it looks and feels like a waterproof coat, more for torrential downpours than showers though.
Having said that - it is too short for Torrents of rain.

Firstly, I received a cream/white coat to review. It was the same style though and a large size.
The material is really good, the rain just slides off it. The items has big pockets which are lined with a netted material, there's not much in the way of lining of the torso area so this won't be the warmest coat but its perfect for rainy days. Plus, the zip is high quality and durable.
I will say that the sizing is on the small side. I'd go one size up when ordering.

Not black, not medium. It has a fake yolk and no air ventilation, so expect to get warm. Its a white/ grey look... I gave this to my son though and he loved it and looks really cool in it. This probably explains the fit, more for a young guy than more mature folks, although I am not fat.
He says that it is just what he was looking for, waterproof, flexible and stylish. Certainly looks stylish
