Fantasy loosely based on fact

Acting was mediocre for the most part. Really did not make sense as the story was all about the schizophrenic cop and did not really focus on the crimes, which were a backfill

Marvellous Movie

Great thriller with marvellous acting that is appreciated and worth putting in my collection. Nothing worse than a serial killer which this is based on. When a ten year old girl is raped and found murdered a New York police investigator is convinced its true what she believes. I rated this an A grade plus for the acting and suspense that goes with this fabulous show. Thrills that hide around the corners and suspense that is chilling, based on a true story makes this worth viewing. Now everyone will have their own opinion and this is mine. I wont mention anymore as that will spoil it for you, become a judge and see for yourself. Enjoy!

... based on real events you can sit back and enjoy it. Take it as it is

If you ignore the fact that this film was loosely based on real events you can sit back and enjoy it. Take it as it is. I do agree with some other critics that it may be seen as an insult to the real victims as the film goes a bit weird with the schizophrenic obsessed cop but it made me remember them with respect, they are not forgotten. The acting was not as bad as some say. I think other viewers wanted it to mimic the real events closer and with that expectation got a little frustrated with the film.

Give it a go, take it for what it is and remember the little girls with respect.

Rubbish. Don't waste your time.

Absolute tripe. The principle of the film is good and it could be excellent, but it's not. The writing is very weak, it doesn't flow, there are some ridiculous scenes and the acting is middle of the road. I got bored leas than half the way through, but stuck it until the end in the hope that it'd improve...it didn't.

As it was based on a real situation I thought it would be worthy but the female protagonist isn't believeable and so unwatchable

That's 1 hour 38 minutes of my life I will never get back...........

Acting abysmal, script writing lazy and acting, well the less that is said about that the better.

The general concept of the film is good but the execution was poor. Some over the top acting and poor direction is what let's the film down.

Terrible Film

Thought it was going to make compelling viewing, I watched it for the first twenty minutes hoping it may have got better. It didn't, it steadily went down hill. Only grateful it was free with Amazon prime. Contrived 5 star rubbish.
