Must watch for anyone even if you're not a fan of American football

I never usually leave reviews but this was so good i felt I had to. I was looking for something to watch and couldn't find anything so had to settle with watching this, I thought I wouldn't enjoy it but i was happily surprised as its one of the best documentary I've seen.
From someone from the UK who plays rugby and has never watched American football this was such a good documentary, I didn't know the results of any of the games so watching it was tense not knowing what was going to happen next. It was good being able to see all the off field training, banter and preparation before the build up to the game then watching the game, It was really well made. Hope they make another series.

Great place to start for becoming an NFL fan

Great documentary of the NFL, I have always been interested in watching American football but have never really got into it before this series is a great way to start. It has the passion, the drama, you follow the team through a season of highs and lows with great storytelling and narration and learn a thing or two about the game in the process. Definitely a fan of the cardinals now, hopefully will continue maybe with cardinals or even a different team.

It has everything you could want out of a sports documentary and fills a nice gap in the market from films like money ball and draft day

This series is way superior to previous sports series
Verified purchase
I know very little about NFL but facing a long summer I thought I'd get to know a little more about the game. As a Liverpool I had watched a similar series about my team that was over stylised and too scripted. This series is way too superior to previous sports series. The players and families are compelling, witty, articulate and good role models. Though there is a lot of profanity from the coach which makes the series inappropriate viewing for children, the swearing comes from passion for the game. The story is of great interest-as is the gathering of the veterans. Good entertainment.

Well Worth A Watch
Verified purchase
Well, this year, (2016-17) the Cardinals aren't doing great. They were defeated by the New Orleans Saints 48-41, but recently managed to narrowly beat the Seahawks 34-31, but still are only currently sitting at 6 Wins and 8 Losses. It's a real shame, but if you want to see them at their best, then watch All Or Nothing.

'We ain't s*** yet... but we are starting to smell a little better'. - Bruce Arians.

This mini series is a great insight into what could have been. You get a really good look into a team which fought hard and have some truly spectacular players; of which Larry Fitzgerald and David Johnson are the standouts. Damn, Johnson can run!

My last review was after only a few episodes, but having watched them all - twice - I can now really say that these are well worth the time to watch. I'm a big fan of the NFL. I haven't got a team, but I just love to watch it. Any detail that I can syphon off is a big help, as there is a mine field of information and terminology to try and understand, and this goes some way into helping with that.

This has a nice rich, crisp feel. Well edited, with a nice balance between learning about individuals and the team as a whole.

If you are unsure if you'll even like it, the first episode is free and Amazon even allow a 30 day trial. Your choice really.

Recommended.

Brilliant and well balanced documentary that shows so many aspects ...

Must watch for every NFL fan!!

Brilliant and well balanced documentary that shows so many aspects of the game and how an NFL franchise operates. Exciting to see what really happens behind the curtains and how the whole team is preparing as one for each and every game week by week. It really felt like I was part of the organization for the whole time I was watching every single episodes. Tense and a real nail-biter at times with the hint of cruel reality.

Highly recommended!! And also a great start for any new NFL fan to fall in love with the game even more!..

Cardinal Heaven.

As a fairly long-standing fan of the Cardinals, this was great. Bruce Arians is a great coach - one of the game's real current characters...Maybe like an old-school, even swearier Jurgen Klopp. For that reason alone, it's worth watching. Given the club's history of 'futility' (John Madden's well-known response when asked to summarise the Cardinals' record) it's also interesting to get even a slight insight into the way Mike Bidwill the owner operates. Steve Keim is a highly-regarded GM, so he too comes across well. Many of the players - Carson Palmer, Tyrann Matthieu and Larry Fitzgerald are sufficiently exposed that I don't know that there's an awful lot new here. I would have liked to have seen more (or anything) of the opinions of storied coaches Tom Moore and Tom Pratt, but that's a minor criticism. Overall, it's a great story of a season which nearly had it all, but resulted in nothing.

If you like sport of any type you need to watch this.

Just got to the end of of what I presume will be season 1 of several seasons having started watching it only 3 days ago. Speaking as a part time NFL watcher (never been an easy thing to follow in the UK) I can say with absolute confidence that fans of ANY sport will find this utterly captivating. Fantastic access to a top flight team from the first team meeting of the year to the last game they play. Watch it!

Compelling, intimate & emotional
Verified purchase
This is a must for all fans of American Football. I found this Series compelling, intimate and emotional viewing, this documentary has it all. Not too dissimilar from The Hard Knocks Series format that we are all used to so it is very easy to follow.

I feel like the game has been portrayed very well and you really get a fly on the wall experience into everything that goes on behind the scenes and you grow to love some of the different characters that make up the Cardinals dressing room. You also find yourself having a new found respect for players & coaches I previously knew little about.

Personally I'm a Colts fan and would love to see the same format applied to our franchise but overall a great job!
