I gave this sandal a four star because they are so comfortable unfortunately I have to return I wear a size 8 1/2 (39) I orders a 40 (9- 9 1/2) my big toe is hanging over the sandal I need a 41 but the sizing stops at 40 I wish they had a 40 I would have re purchased.

I wanted to pair these shoes with a beautiful kimono that i was wearing. When i found online i was excited that it was a good match. These shoes were stylish and they were listed for a reasonable price. I was ready to try them on when the package arrived. I was met with so much disappointment that these do not fit for someone who has wide feet. Also there were not a lot of sizing options so i couldn't go a size up. When i tried to adjust them on my feet, they started to hurt immediately and after trying to walk in them for less than a minute, i took them off. They are pretty hard and uncomfortable. Although there is gripping on the bottom, it does not feel secure enough to keep my feet from sliding. Was so hopeful for these, but they didnt work for my wide feet.

It's great. I have been using of this style of Janeane slippers a lot already. This is pretty good quality with $, also shipped faster than I expected. The back side of slipper shape isn't flat. When you not use to wear as like this of shape little bit uncomfortable but if use to it you will be fine. I will wear it inside my house.

They are just to cute.I purchased them because I have concrete floors.They are very comfortable for the price.The soles which is wood ,look thicker in the picture.But I'm satisfied.Go up a shoe size,they fit small.I reordered two more pairs because the size 40 are 9.5,but when I received them they are actually 39 which is size 8.5 like the size tag was switched.Im not ordering anymore.The tacks that hold the scrape on they come a loose from the side of the sandle.Needs a secure fastener on the side of the shoes.Sole fell of within 3 weeks

comfortable for feet but not knees

I wanted solid, inflexible soles like the "doctor's" sandals that I wore out years ago but the doctor's now cost four times what these do. I thought that the angled heels might roll like rocker soles, but they don't; I feel every step in my ageing knees. These sandals are what I expected, I suppose, but not what I hoped.

I wear European 42, US 10, and bought the largest available, 40. They're just a tiny bit short at the heel but that doesn't matter. I adjusted the toe strap for comfort by sliding the strap sideways in the loop and pulling the loop very tightly around the strap.
