I gave this sandal a four star because they are so comfortable unfortunately I have to return I wear a size 8 1/2 (39) I orders a 40 (9- 9 1/2) my big toe is hanging over the sandal I need a 41 but the sizing stops at 40 I wish they had a 40 I would have re purchased.

Seem decent - light weight but well made

These were purchased as a gift, so I can't speak for how well the exact sizing goes. I held them up to my feet, which are a bit larger, and it seems they'll do well for her size. Technically the heel should hang slightly over the edge of geta - I'm not sure these fit that way.

They're a very light wood, but feel sturdy enough to hold up to everyday wear. They're sanded enough to be smooth and not cause splinters, and the fabric is securely attached. The bottom of the shoes has rubber attached for traction and to keep your step lighter.

It is abundantly clear that the soles on the bottom have been sloppily glued. They will peel and bend if you use these any more than very casually. The wood and strap are very pretty, though.

Unfortunately, there were a few scratches on the wood itself which also peeled and left unpleasant marks on the top. Overall, I would say buy these if you are using them for a costume or a very limited time, but god forbid you plan on using them for everyday activities - you will not be happy.

The product did not fit and I don't know why. The posting for thus product said actual size in U.S. I wear a size 9.5 so I bought 2 pairs in different colors and they didn't fit. They fit like 2 sizes smaller. I was very disappointed and also to return them I had to take them to 2 different drop off locations. This was a complete mess.

I knew they would be a size too small but they are only for a costume so I wasn't concerned. It's too bad they don't come in bigger sizes as they are quite cute and comfy. I would wear them all the time if they were available in my size.

I was going to wear these just with my summer yukata. But they feel so good on the feet that I'm using them as casual footwear. The straps are wide and comfortable, and the wooden clogs themselves seem to naturally support my feet. It's not exactly arch support, but it's a lot better I expected. They look great, too.
