Sadly, not as good as the previous model.
There are a lot of small details that just make it slightly worse than before. For example the tongue is narrower and not as filled (especially at the top), or the insole, while having slightly more cushioning now is a flat piece, meaning you can clearly feel the edges of the insole with your feet.
The outer form has change as well meaning you can more clearly feel the supports.

Overall there have been many small cost saving adjustments, and it sadly can be felt.

For whatever reason, ASICS follow a different Shoe Size Conversion chart to what you may be used to. If you order a UK size 10, it's likely to be the equivalent of a UK 10.5 from other similar brands. Unfortunately, I found this out the hard way as I only noticed after a couple of runs, so couldn't return them. Check before you order
