I only ever buy Asics. I've ran in them for over 20 years. These are a good pair of basic running shoes for keeping in my bag for treadmill running rather than road running. Whilst I don't doubt they are goid entry level shoes for short distances on the road, anything over 5k, I prefer more protection from the high end shoes.
On the whole for basic use at the price, these shoes are perfect.

After injuring my shoulder and being unable to play football for a while I've started running. I'm an underpronator and did a bit if research on the best running shoes for underpronation and opted for these following good reviews and the great price. They fit really well and are very comfortable. They gel cushion in the heel is noticeably good. Below the laces near the toe end is quite mesh like which let's you feet breath a bit, this could be an issue in the rain but I've not tested this yet. The grip seems relatively good, I've run on icy pavements/road without slipping. Overall I would thoroughly recommend these.

I have a weak lower back. I wanted a trainer that had good cushioning on the heel strike to prevent jarring to my spine when jogging. These did the job brilliantly. They are comfortable with good airflow and heel support. Strongly recommend them, especially if you have back problems.
