A tragedy that could've been avoided

A very emotional watch which leaves a lot of questions unanswered. Those who were interviewed because they'd lost a loved one spoke very well and although some had anger towards the police and why it took so long to clear the club, they were very dignified in their responses. The programme itself really brought home the fear that those trapped inside must have felt as the gunman shot indiscriminately. Rest in peace those who died, including the young man who passed 3 months after the tragedy, and may God Bless those who survived and the families left behind, I pray God helps give you ongoing strength to get through the years ahead.

terribly sad but a beautiful also

Wasn't aware how long it took for the victims to come out of the building, its time for that FBI report to be published and scrutinised by the public so lessons can be learned from this horrific tragedy. My heart goes to all the families and friends that lost such beautiful souls so young and full of promise... RIP <3

The Police didn't do anything because; i) they were scared and; ii) it was a gay club. No police officer is going to die in service of gay people. It's a good job we're used to being hated. All of the police had gloves on, such was their fear of HIV. At least LGBTQIA people are a family and our brother and sisters died surrounded by unconditional acceptable and humanity. x
